Located within the grasses of the Hydro Corridor in Scarborough, The Meadoway is a transformational project developing 16km of underutilized, monoculture into one of the largest urban greenspaces in Canada. The corridor crosses six wards – over 60,000 households. It will evolve to become a green, active, east-west link between downtown Toronto and Rouge National Urban Park, while creating urban agriculture opportunities and connecting greenspaces across the communities of Scarborough.

Informed by field investigations, bike/walking tours, and helicopter surveys, our engagement strategy invited residents/stakeholders to participate in the design process helping them imagine The Meadoway once complete. It included experiential elements such a 12-metre annotated map, 360-degree photos/videos, Virtual-Reality and physical models.
